Rick Somers

Ofc. Rick Somers was appointed to the Rockland Police Department in 1986. Rick is currently assigned to the 8am to 4pm day shift and was responsible for the first TRIAD, and 'Are you O.K.?' programs in Plymouth Country (both programs are focused on the safety of the elderly).

Rick enjoys working out at the local gym and relaxing in his new cottage in New Hampshire.

Ofc. Somers joined the Honor Guard in 1996. Rick states, "I am proud to be a police officer and just as important , a member of the Honor Guard."

Rick has been married for 25 years to his wife, Kathleen. Rick and Kathleen have two children: Amy (21) and Steven (19). "
