Officer Sue Llewellyn
Ofc. Sue Llewellyn has been with the Rockland Police Department since October of 1999 when she served as a Special Police Officer. She was appointed as a Permanent Intermittent Police Officer in 2000.
Suzzi served the Town of Rockland in that capacity from 2000 to 2006. During that time she worked as a Rockland School Police Officer. She also served the RPD as an E-911 Operator.
Suzzi was appointed as a Permanent Police Officer in Rockland in 2006. She attended the Weymouth Police Academy, the 11th MPOC. Upon her successful graduation from the academy she was assigned to patrol on the day shift (8-4) where she remains currently assigned.
Suzzi has received specialized training and certifications:
- R.A.D. instructor ~ 2003 (Rape Aggression Defense) self defense for Adults
- R.A.D. Kid's Instructor ~ 2007 (Resisting Aggression Defensively) Self defense for Kid's
- Sexual Assault investigator (Plymouth Police Dept.) 2007
Ofc. Llewellyn is a the newest member of the Rockland Police Honor Guard, joining in 2007
Suzzi gradated from Rockland High School in 1990. She earned an Associate's Degree from Massasoit Community College in Criminal justice, attending from 1991-1995
Suzzi is a lifelong resident of Rockland. Her first job was at Domino's Pizza from 1986 ~ 2006 Manager (20 yrs) prior to starting RPD.....
Her interests include ~ Running, Cynergy Boot Camp, Skydiving, skiing, vacationing in the Cayman Islands and anything outdoors.
Suzzi says, “I married my best friend “JL” on 11/11/07 in the Cayman Islands. I have a step daughter Ashley and Three Min Pin's (Miniature Doberman Pincher's) Jack, Samantha and Kaymon who all love going for a run with me!”
